A card from Assumpta..

An aunt, my 3rd uncle Andy's friend. Got to know her in the late 90s when she was here in SG, working in NKF. She died of cancer some years ago. Picked up a card from her while tidying up my stuff, thought of jotting her words down, before the words in card fade completely. The cover contains words of encouragement. It says:

Imagination
A mind once stretched by a new idea, never regains its original dimensions.

Dear Shin Ling

Thank you so much for your Christmas card and New Year card.

I am sorry that I did not return your correspondence.

Andy left this morning and he wanted to tell you he was looking forward to seeing you during the Chinese New Year. He suggested that I could e-mail you. However, I don't have your email address, therefore, I have to use the old fashion way.

We did not go to Fiji but spending three days in King Island, a very remote and barren place. Andy was very impressed.

Any time when you want to come to Melbourne for a holiday, just let me know. You can stay with me.

Well, I'm at work at the moment, but I want to send you the card. I have to sign off now. Take Care.
